Are you ready?
It’s time for a new parenting normal.
Together, we’ll leave behind the yelling, overwhelm, and paralyzing frustration.
And it’ll happen with care, connection, and low stress strategies.
Do you feel pushed to your absolute limit? Like you can’t give another ounce of yourself?
Is it time for everyone to listen (probably your partner, too) BEFORE you’re yelling?
Are you overwhelmed with burning the candle at…all…the ends?
And what if nothing works before it’s too late?
Will you make it through these years with a relationship that is salvageable?
We’ve seen the adult child “no contact” Tiktoks.
You are a big hearted parent, who wants the world for your kids, but you’re still missing each other somehow.
Things get escalated so quickly in the heat of the moment.
How are we supposed to get the kids to HEAR you?
Could you make some small changes that bring big results?
Yes, you can.
And it’s not too late to start! This information has been kept in professional circles for far too long.
How do I know?
Because I’ve done it! I’m a therapist and behavior specialist, but my most important credential is that I’m a parent.
Every day, I help teachers and parents care for children, and I’ve realized that what gets taught to parents in therapy rooms and classrooms all across the country, is what ALL parents need to calm their homes and change their lives!
This information has been kept in professional circles alone for far too long. It’s time to leave the gatekeeping behind so you can care for yourself and your kids well.
The best part?
It’s so much easier than you think to solve even the problems that feel unsolvable and build a strong and healthy relationship with their child.
This is the day you say goodbye to yelling, feeling ignored, bribing, and worrying about what kind of people your kid, or kids, will grow up to be.
Introducing….
I see you.
You want a healthy and trusting relationship with your children, based on care, respect, and working together. Dare I say…being on the same team??
You just want to protect them…but it’s hard when you see them barreling toward big mistakes, especially when they aren’t listening to your advice.
You want them to learn to take care of their spaces…but everything from taking out the trash to putting away their toys becomes a draining power struggle.
You just want them to put on the dang jacket to go out into the cold…but it becomes a battle of wills.
You want to spend quality time with them…but parenting through all these challenges means you’re fighting instead of connecting.
Parent School will give you the tools, strategies, and overall roadmap to get on the same page as your kid, to calm your home, and well … change your life.
No more…
Figuring out which advice to take.
Sorting through your saved videos on Instagram or TikTok.
Wondering how influencers or your friends make it look so easy.
With this course, the most current research and science-backed strategies come to you in one convenient package.
When you have that roadmap, and the strategies to implement them, there’s nothing you and your child can’t figure out together.
OUT with the outdated information, random tips and tricks without any real science, and IN with proven human behavior strategies, real mental health tools that work, and judgement free parenting!
You don’t have to continue struggling. Instead, get the tools necessary to for you to solve these parenting struggles now.
After some embarrassing on-field meltdowns, we realized our little guy needed a season away from his favorite sport to work on some coping skills. That was hard for all of us. Kirsty helped us do that, and now we’re back on the field! We look forward to his games now, and I don’t wake up with knots in my stomach because I don’t know what version of my son his team will get that day. Now, we have a plan for when he has “big feelings.”
-A’s mom
My teenage daughter and I lived parallel lives. She was left to solve some of her own problems without me because we had trouble getting along. I was constantly worried about her. She saw Kirsty for therapy, and after some parent coaching, I feel much better about how connected we are. I always wanted a close relationship with my daughter, and now I can say we have that. I’m not saying it’s perfect, because we both still have hard days, but now we know how to recover from them and move.
-E’s mom
If you’ve landed on this page, you know that SOMETHING is not working.
Stop throwing spaghetti and the wall and seeing what sticks, and no more chaos.
You’re tired, but help has arrived.
Through almost two decades of working in schools, and directly with parents, I’ve discovered simple processes and small tweaks that deliver big results for families.
It’s just not the unsolvable problem that it feels like sometimes!
Human behavior is human behavior, and in this program you’ll learn how to apply it to your family.
I’m going to teach you:
How to monitor and adjust the “emotional thermostat” of your home (someone’s gotta do it).
How to care for yourself as a parent (you have no idea how much this helps).
How to work through conflict with your kids, and repair your relationship (better than ever before).
How to navigate parenting when you and spouse come from homes with different parenting styles.
When you join Parent School I’ll be handing you a proven roadmap to a calm and connected parenting journey.
If I’m being honest, 85% of parenting conflicts can be resolved with the first three modules. They are seriously just that powerful!
Module 1: Your Parenting Destination
This module is some quick and effective groundwork for supporting yourself and your child. It’s the foundation of childhood behavior management in almost all settings. This is where you decide what kind of parent you want to be, and how you want to get there.
Best of all, you don’t have to do it alone.
You’ll learn about …
Parental Confidence
Scripting your Truths
Taking Morality out of Parenting
Functions of Behavior
ABC’s of Child Behavior
Target Behaviors and Replacement Behaviors
Monitoring and adjusting the “Emotional Thermostat” of the Home
Module 2: Vehicles for Cooperative Parenting
A calm and connected family begins with how you design the environment. In this module, you’ll learn how to set up your home life for success.
You’ll learn about …
How the Biology of the Brain and Body affect Behavior (and how to use it to cue cooperative behavior!)
Conflict and Refusal
Childhood Confidence
Schedules and Routines
Motivation (Child and Parent or Caregiver)
Routine sheets, Boards, Charts
Rewards (without being indulgent or bribing)
Module 3: The Pleasant Parenting Toolkit
On the parenting journey, it’s important you pack the right tools. In this module, you’ll learn how to make parenting not only manageable but mindful and fun for you and your little ones..
You’ll learn about…
Being a Detective
Assuming Positive Intent (and why it’s so effective!)
Co-regulation
Emotional Check-ins
Zones of Regulation
Emotional Thermometer
When and how to teach Coping Skills
Restorative Practices
Module 4: Your Unique Path
Kids, parents, and parenting, are not one-size-fits-all. You and your child (or children!) are unique, and Module 4 gives that extra layer of education and support for some of the journey’s unique circumstances.
You’ll learn about…
Parenting Neurodivergent Children
School (Testing and Support)
Parenting Highly Sensitive Children
Module 5: Troubleshooting the Journey
Even with the best laid plans, every journey has challenges, roadblocks, and reroutes. In this module, we explore, what to do if things “don’t work” and understand what could be going wrong, especially when the reasons for challenging behavior are less than obvious. We’re here for more support if you or your child need it.
You’ll learn about …
Implementation Supports
Parental Supports
Next Steps
Total Value (so far): $2250
Every module comes with video lessons, printables, worksheets, and live support (seriously!).
These tools are usually kept behind the closed doors of counseling offices and the barriers of high cost one-on-one sessions.
If all this was delivered to you in individual sessions, the total cost would range from $2250 and $2500 and at least 15 hours of counseling sessions…and that’s not taking into account travel time, scheduling headaches, and time off from work and home.
But I don’t believe in gatekeeping the tools that can transform your family’s life forever.
You can get this pathway to peace in your home for only $497.
I was referred to Kirsty by a childhood friend, and we worked with her on parenting our toddler. She helped us understand what was going on in her brain so we knew how to help her during a meltdown.
-KL
My son has seen Kirsty for about 18 months for ADHD. She helps me as the parent and helps him behave better at school. She also helps him understand his own behavior and the behavior of other people.
-B’s mom
I really struggle with all the demands of being a mom. I feel like I spend most of my day overwhelmed. I see Kirsty for somatic therapy, where she helps me decompress and manage overstimulation of parenting. I feel so much better about my parenting and how I care for kids when I’m using the strategies I learned in session.
-BE
This course is not for…
Kids themselves.
Parents with a fixed mindset of “we’ve always done it this way.”
Parents who believe “my parents did it this way, and I turned out fine!”
Those who believe parenting is one-size-fits all.
Parents who want to hold on to outdated or authoritarian strategies because they feel familiar.
But if you’re a parent who…
knows something isn’t quite working in their family.
has a flexible growth mindset.
keeps an open mind to the newest, well-studied, research.
understands that each child may need to be parented uniquely.
desires to have a calm and connected life at home and everywhere else with your kids
Then, this course is for you.
If there was one last thing I wish I would tell you…
…it’s that there is a better way.
These simple human behavior principles can change everything about the way you interact with your child.
Can you imagine productive conversations with your child? Calm and kind conversations that end in real changes to your child’s behavior, instead of the only tool within arm’s reach being “because I said so.” (Because we both know that doesn’t go well.)
Right now, you’re struggling with a strained relationship, your child is feeling misunderstood and shamed, and you feel guilty.
You keep thinking you should know better. You excel in so many areas of your life, and solve all kinds of problems, but this one is stumping you … and it’s taking over your life (not in a good or manageable way)!
There is a way to change the culture of your parenting right now, to get on the same team as your kid, and to work through these conflicts together.
This is a critical time in your child’s life and your parenting journey.
Your child’s brain (and your relationship with that brain) is still developing!
There’s no better time than now to make changes in how you and your child engage with each other.
The sooner you make those changes, the faster you’ll see transformation .
It’s time to start your journey to a calmer home.
You can even join Parent School with a payment plan, making it more easier than ever to get the support you need at a price you can afford.
I’m Kirsty!
I’m a licensed therapist, and I work with people who care for children. I do that in schools, in the therapy room, for families in the midst of high-conflict transition, and in large groups.
But I’m also a parent. I’ve been in your shoes, and I’ve supported people in your shoes for almost two decades.
I have experience with children (and parents!) who:
kids with big feelings and strong emotions
have ADHD
who act before thinking
who struggle with listening and following through with basic instructions
teenagers (need I say more)
toddlers
tweens (and supporting parents as they support children through puberty)
have divorced parents and now grow up in two homes
struggle with executive functioning
kids who struggle with impulsivity
recieve special services at school
kids who have had traumatic experiences
I’d love to support you as you transform your relationship with your child.

How do I know if this is for me?
Do you feel emotionally connected to your child? Do you have sees and hear that your child listens and heeds your protective advice? Can you and your child communicate effectively, most of the time? Can you and your child solve problems without yelling, most of the time? If not, this course is for you.
How much time should I commit to this?
As much or as little as you would like! You can start at the beginning, or jump ahead to a specific topic for immediate relief. For best results, we recommend starting with 15 minutes a day, a few times a week, and implementing the action step with each video. We also have our live sessions if you aren’t great at “sticking” to things. We’ll have a standing appointment where we’ll cover everything you need! You don’t have to rely on your own motivation or time to get results.
What results should I expect?
It only takes a change in one person’s behavior to change the dynamic in a relationship. You’re here, and you’re it. And you got this! Be ready for clear communication, less guilt (for both of you!), less yelling, and a closer connection.
